Mr Cooper

Now I'm not exactly sure how I found out about Mr. Cooper, I think it was through Controller7's board, but his beats are really something special. It's much different than sampled compositions. He takes the best of both the synth and sample worlds and combines them into something that doesn't sound cheesy or over done, but melodic and right.

He's coming out with an album soon on Project Mooncircle called "What Else There Is" . From the sound clips his new record sounds much more synth heavy, but it still maintains the balance without congesting the songs with too many layers. The third and fourth beat are murder! Take a listen below.

Some of my favorite things

A bit of an introduction to the blog. It's going to be comprised of music post. I'm going to be posting songs from my favorite records. It's going to be mainly vinyl rips, but if there's something exclusive to a CD I may post it. You're going to hear mainly soul, rock, hip-hop, jazz, and electronic music.

This is the first rip. It's around 70Mbs at 320Kbps, no transcoding. Around 30 or so minutes long. A mixture of things to come. I'll be posting the covers in the future, but for now just enjoy the music.
